JUNE - WE HAVE BEEN RELEASED!!

We are still staying busy on the farm.
One of our granddaugters came to stay a month with us.
While my girls are gone a lot more lately it sure was wonderful spending some with her.

When we moved on our property there wasn't many flowers short of the wild ones out in pastures. I've been adding more each year.
It's been so wonderful watching them bloom.

I planted several pansies this year. They smell wonderful!
I have several in pots at my backdoor. I have been enjoying sitting on the deck and enjoying the smells too.

It's getting hot out but our pool takes a little bit to warm up.

Jack and Diane really like Tim.
Maybe because he is always bring them some food.

They have more than doubled in size since we got them.

We had some leg issues with these meat chickens. I put them in our triangle tractor. They get moved daily, water is lower for them and their feed is close. They won't get trampled on by the bigger meat chickens. This way they have a chance to get bigger.

We move these 4 tractors daily.
It won't be long before they are butchered. Most of these are already sold.

Still making homemade bread.
Serve that up warm with honey. YUM!!

I thought something got our female turkey. She has been gone for almost 2 weeks. Then all of a sudden there she is.
She came up while I was feeding the other chickens.

Brieanna and I waited for her to finish eating.
Then she was off. Not sure where but Brieanna was gonna find out where she was hiding out at.
They walked all the way into our woods. She lost her view of her in some tall grass while she was climbing the fence to get closer. If only Brieanna could of slipped under the fence like the turkey did.
So for now she's gone.

POOL DAY with the grandkids!!!!

Isabella

So happy they are having fun!
So many to love up on!
I am so LUCKY and BLESSED!!!

My beautiful daughter Jessica and her youngest EmilyMae.

A beautiful sunset while taking care of our evening chores.

Kaitlin feeding the pigs.

Found a big pile of guinea eggs.
You just never know where they hide them.

Grass is getting tall and another beautiful sunset.

Diane is always in the lead with Jack right behind her.
He is a scaredy cat. We still need to work on training them on an electric fence. This should be fun.

My guineas!!
Some like them while others dislike them.
They are loud but that's ok with me.

We got 2 baskets of homegrown strawberries from the garden.
They were so sweet!

We hatched out some ducklings.

This is what pigs do on a HOT day!!!

These pigs rub on everything and they are strong.

Another POOL DAY!!!
This time the girls are home and can see their nieces and nephews.

This is what Skylar looks like smiling. Kidding!
Not sure why with the face, maybe it's her resting face.

Eating snacks by the pool.
EmilyMae is eating some cherries.

My girl Skylar.
She hung out with us until she had to leave for work.
I sure say a lot of goodbyes. It's hard on the heart of a momma.

We had another set of baby rabbits born.
These are Raven's babies.

These are Snow White's babies.

These are Lady Grey's babies.

She had one black one and one grey one. Normally they are all white with a little grey. We thought that to be exciting.

Now you can see the grey one.

Another visit with the grandkids.
EmilyMae and Liam sure have been enjoying the baby kittens.
They give them lots of love.

The days sure have been hot.
Nice to see some clouds but still not getting any rain.

Grass is still growing and cattle are doing good.
They are hanging out in some shade under the tree.

Beautiful clouds for a day in June.

Hanging out with these beautiful girls.

Been harvesting some lettuce from our garden.

The girls are just hanging out.
Been so blessed to have my family back and coming out to the farm.
