We're BACK!!!

Ok it has been a long time since our last post and LOTS have been going on. So, lets back up to why we haven't posted for a while. We were in a rental and basically there was nothing to post about. None of us liked the place. We moved when it was cold (December 2015) and we only met 3 neighbors in 4 months. Lots of destructive kids and our pickup truck got broke into. We packed up over half of our belongings in a shipping container. We signed a 6 month lease on our rental so we started back up looking at houses towards the end of January. We looked at so many houses since August of 2015 (house went on market October 2015).

Finally, in February we found the "ONE". I won't drag this out....... they accepted our offer finally. It took only 2 weeks, so now we are waiting to hear on closing. We got the date, March 24th. Now this was planning time. What do we move first? My thoughts was lets move us in, but that wasn't gonna happen yet. We had a shipping container with most all of our belongings sitting on a trailer that we were borrowing. So, we moved that here first. Had so many helping hands to get it unloaded.

When we packed up the container, I had come up with a labeling system. We number all boxes and put what was in the box in a legend book. So we unloaded everything from the container into our garage. We put boxes in order and other items like outdoor stuff in the barn. We didn't take much inside the house, except the girls wanted their boxes and belongings. I don't blame them. They packed up toys, games, books, stuffed animals. So through the week we went through the boxes and decided we are downsizing. So lets have a garage sale. So we all went through and kept filling up the garage with items we are gonna get rid of. It was hard to get rid of some of the things but we moved into a smaller house. To us it feels bigger but a lot of what we had in our other house didn't fit well in our new house. Out with the old in with the less. Besides, we have a bigger yard and we want bigger toys.

And we have a Pond!
