MOVING STEERS

This past weekend, like I stated before we were busy. Tim and Mr. B and Kaitlin put in a electric fence. Plans are to get our steers closer to the barn. This will make it easier to work on them in the barn.  We will feed them on one side and then put them back over to their side. It will also help to mow down some of the grass too. Bonus both ways.

Tim and I got the feed troughs moved. Loaded them up in the pickup truck. The picture is from the truck using the side mirrors.

Tim opened the gate to let them in. Blackie is unsure of this.

Ok we got 2 to come in. Come on guys foods on this side.

They are a little scared and jumpy not sure what to think. We know they like the grass just not the tall stuff.

Here they are on the other side of the barn. This is them enjoying some fresh grass. We ended up having to move them back to there side of the pasture instead of them doing it themselves. It was getting late and we were ready for bed. So way after dark sometime Tim got them back over. It helps, their water trough is still on their side.
