CHANGING THINGS, MOVING THINGS & CLEANING UP!

What is this, you ask????

It's our new chicken feed.
It's 1000 pounds of feed. Kaitlin and I went to town to pick it up. It takes 24 hours before it is ready.

Look at this poor truck. It takes a lot of abuse for sure.
I moved the truck out this morning and one of our hens wasn't happy it was gone. She lays her egg in the bed of the truck. I have tried and tried moving her. She is determined that is where her eggs will be. So, later that day I had to find her new place.

We couldn't wait, we had to open it up and see what this mix looks like.

The hens like it!

This week Tim brought home the skid loader on the trailer. We will be using it for several projects we are doing this week and weekend.

This skid loader is going move things for us tonight.
 Not Kaitlin!

Not the dog either!

 See all this stuff?
Rabbit cage, boards and fencing. It's gotta go!
What happened to the sun? Time changed and looks like several of our projects we will be doing in the dark.

This spot works to put it all. It's out of the way for now until we need it.

Kaitlin getting another ride up high!

Now to move Greyson our rabbit.

We put it by the Old Hen House for now. Plans are to make him a new cage. But, that will have to wait for now.

Last night (Tuesday) Tim brought home the skid loader on the trailer. Tonight (Wednesday), he brought home a deep freezer and a auger.

This is the auger.
Ok this picture is a little dark.

Now you can see its a auger.

This is where Greyson's cage is.
Makes a difference in the light to see where stuff is.

This is why we moved all the stuff last night. Tim ordered a load of gravel. The mulch that gets delivered is on the other side of the truck. The stuff that was there wasn't in the way of that truck. But for this dump truck it was.

Looks like we will be busy moving this.
Another reason the skid loader is here.

This area is one of the places the gravel is going. It is finally drying out from rain days ago.

We layed mulch down in one area because it was so muddy.
