A SLOW WEEK!

Such a colorful group of veggies!

Still harvesting vegetables!
Not as many tomatoes, but lots of green peppers.

All the new little chicks are doing good.

Even the spraddled legged chick. Two days with the band on her legs and she is ready.

~A NEW HOME~

This kitty we call Winter just got a new home. The gentleman that came and picked her up has been excited to get her. He has been wanting her for about 2 weeks. The day came and he finally got to take her home. She will be with 2 other cats and 2 dogs. Not sure how much she will like the dogs, but will adjust. So, that leaves one more kitten to go.

Some of the smaller chicks getting bigger and laying.

The kittens like hanging out in the run.

 Turkeys are getting bigger.

Got another load of mulch today!

 Last nights sky!
(Thursday)

Today's the day.....
The steers will be picked up for auction. We will have a busy weekend at the auction too.

Today was a sad day, Mr.B came to pick up the steers  (Fern, Milky Brown, Mask and Red are their names) Here I am getting my picture with them one last time.

I'm trying to pet Red, he had other plans
 apparently.

Mr. B came by this morning to pick up 4 of the steers.

They went in the trailer with no problem.

One last good bye!

Here is the other 6 steers to be picked up and taken to auction.
Skylar and Kaitlin got them from the lower paddock and walked them up to the corral. Easier than I thought. They have never been in the corral before. They were a little confused, but went in with no problems.

In this picture, Whitey's up close and StormCloud
is behind him.

Here's all of the six steers names:
Whitey, Rogue, Rembrant, T.J., Scar and StormCloud.

Mr. B and I are going into the corral to herd the
steers into the trailer.

They went in really easily.

Got them all loaded up and ready for Auction!

The chickens were loving this!

Finally able to get this picture of Cuddles. She loves to lay under the house. If she eats much more we may need to dig her out.

Friday nights sky!

The meaties last move as we will be butchering them on Sunday.
We pull their feed a day before butchering them.

When we cleaned up this place and down in the woods there was a trailer load of scrap metal. Tim got the trailer so we can take it in before we head to the auction place. By the time we got it all loaded it was getting dark. Who needs light?

Getting it all strapped on. We don't need anything flying off.
