Our wood boiler is up and going. It sure has made a difference. Our house has been much warmer.
It's been going for several weeks and Tim is cleaning out the ash for the 1st time out of the box.
Having this make shift wood shed has been very handy.
The wood shed has kept the wood dry and not frozen to each other.
I know the tarp won't last long but it doing it's job for now.
We will look into a permanent solution for next winter.
Tim is loading up the fire box. So far we have only had to load it once in the morning and once before bed. It had done really well on the coldest days. We are glad we went with this option. As for getting out and loading it on cold days we still have to get out and take care of the animals so it's still not bad just another thing to check on.
Well worth it!!
