AFTER THE SNOW part 2!

AFTER THE SNOW
part 2

We got snow and lots of snow!!
With snow always comes lots of ice. It's our season to get some projects done inside.

Out taking a walk.

Taking care of some evening chores.

This is from our bedroom window.
It just looks cold!!

I love the colors on the swing set. It just stands out in this wintry scene.

Everything is crisp.

We got the ducks in the tractor. It was surprisingly warm inside with them. The snow just added a blanket of warmth.

The sun finally came out and melted the trees from the icy-snow.
It was glistening but doesn't show up on the picture.

Panther keeping warm in the hay.

When the snow melted it left plenty of mud. Cosmo loved rolling all in it. He has been doing it the last couple of days. Kaitlin keeps brushing him out. Wait until she sees him again.

The snow has been starting to melt.
Larrissa, Kaitlin and Sarah with Cosmo.

The cows enjoying the hay Tim and I rolled out for them.
We moved them to the middle pasture until the snow melts.

A beautiful evening sky. Some of the snow has started to melt off slowly. In the city they don't have any snow.

Homemade sourdough cinnamon rolls.

Squirt and Phantom

Panther and Hope

Cosmo getting some pasture time.

What a beautiful sky after doing chores.

Tim and I out for a walk and checking on cows.

We took Cosmo for a walk.

We took the dogs too. Tim decided to get on Cosmo's back and have a little ride.

We finally got Kaitlin convinced to hop on too.

Can you see the 3 cows in the back. Beyond that there is more cows standing at another fence. Those aren't ours. That is where one of our cows has crossed over to. Them cows over their make our heifers look like a big dog.

Creek is still flowing.

Chocolate chip pancakes. YUM!

Had lunch with this little cutie.

And these two beautiful daughters of mine.

Before long the chicken tractors will be out soon. We already had our farm meeting and deciding how many meat chickens for the first round for 2020.

So blessed to be where we are!

Another round of snow comes to the farm.

The dogs don't mind the snow.

Kaitlin and I out checking on the cows and the water.
It's a cold day today!!

My little granddaughter EmilyMae at story time at the library.

EmilyMae, Jessica, and Krystal
I am at the library working on my blog.

Out having lunch with my girls.
It's been awhile since I have had these two out together.

We may have over stayed our welcome, but we had sooo much fun!!!!

The chickens are no longer scared of the dogs.
They are everywhere. This summer might be a problem keeping them out of the garage.
