TIM HAS BEEN BUSY!!

Since we have moved we have been wanting a fireplace, wood stove, wood boiler or something other than just electric heat. Making that decision on what works best for our home and life style has been important to us. We have researched and read plenty of information. We have talked with many of people and looked at many options. There is a lot out there.

We made the purchase on a wood boiler. Tim had to overhaul the unit. Now Tim will be spending several weekends getting everything else ready to making this thing work.

You have to keep in mind sometimes it takes 30 steps to making 1 thing getting done. This is one of them.

Tim is getting the spot laid out for the wood boiler.

Leveling and laying blocks for the boiler to sit on.

Tim is stripping the thick plastic coating and foam away from the two tubes.

Tim is getting the boiler set in place.
So many steps to get this ready.

Pipes coming up. This will be the water lines to the house.

Rubber boot to seal the insulated pipe.

We are still weeks away from getting this ready to use.

Tim is working on the future electric panel.

Tim is running conduit under the sidewalk to the garage.

Tim is making a hole with a metal pipe first.

It's in.

Tim doesn't waste anytime getting it in and covered back up.

Tim had the new panel set in place.

Lots going on here. One line goes to the garage, another to the wood boiler and the last one goes to our future RV panel.

We make it work.

The new panel for the garage. It is replacing the little fuse box.
Service is upgraded to 100 amps. More power for tools.

After I helped him pull the wire in the pipe, Tim has the breaker box in the garage all in.

He even removed the old fuse box.

Tim got the wires run and hooked up for the boiler.

Tim got the dirt all put back and painted the pipes.
Looks like it has always been there except for all the dirt now.

Stay tuned for the furnace getting hooked up to the wood boiler.
