SLOW & STEADY!

Sometimes there just isn't enough hours in the day. It seems to be more like that in the fall/winter months. I think it is because it gets dark sooner. Summer we have daylight until almost after 9pm.

So, by the time Tim gets off and gets home it is dark.

He stopped by and found the lock we needed for the chicken door.

Tim added the lever to keep door open.

The next night we got the food buckets and water hung.

In town today....
Their is a guy painting a mural.
Doesn't that look awesome?

The newest baby chicks have outgrown the tote I have them in. The hen house isn't ready for them yet. So, I decided to put them in the chicken tractor next to the other younger chicks inside the stall of the barn.

The chicks are checking things out.

The rooster and hens were interested too.

They are young and last night was cold. We had to move them to the heat lamp.

Even the cats were curious.
