PUMPKIN PATCH!

Tim and I surprised the girls and took them to a Pumpkin Patch.

 Crooked River runs along side of the property. Its so peaceful listening to the water run.

 We had to use the bridge to cross the river.

 It felt like being in the Ozarks!

 The girls were surprised and excited!

We all took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch.

 Which one do we want?

 All the pumpkins were still attached to the vines. The last several years when we have gone to the pumpkin patch they are just placed out in the fields. So it was really cool to have it cut fresh off the vine.

Skylar found hers.

And Kaitlin found hers too.

The guy who drove the tractor had the loppers to cut the pumpkins for the girls.

Nice looking Pumpkins girls!

 It had rained earlier so things were real muddy. But they did find the pumpkin that they wanted.

~AUTUMN~

When the trees their summer splendor
Change to raiment red and gold,
When the summer moon turns mellow,
And the nights are getting cold;
When the squirrels hide their acorns,
And the woodchucks disappear;
Then we know that it is autumn,
Loveliest season of the year.
