UNTHAWING!!!

Kaitlin, Tim and I took a little walk around the yard and down into the woods. It's been so cold and we finally had another break in the weather. The girls and I usually go daily on walks when the weather is good. Not when it's freezing and in single digits. This winter has been cold and long.

This is the over flow of our pond.

It's like a mini-river flowing.
Waiting for the pond to unfreeze more so we can move the ducks back.

Pond is still iced up.

We all walked down to the woods to check out the creek.

This is our creek. On a normal day we can cross this.
However this is flowing real good and pretty deep.

That beautiful smile and beautiful young lady of mine always takes wonderful pictures.

This section of our woods is still pretty icy.
Looks like we have a few trees down. That will be another day for that. Today we are just looking and taking notes of what needs to be done.

A little bit of grass in the corner of this picture.
Spring please come real soon!

This is our BIG Sycamore Tree we call "Big Henry".

Our middle pasture.
As we were walking back up, it was getting foggy out.

Looks like my chickens and turkeys finally came out of the barn and are free ranging. This makes me happy!!!

For now we are thawing out from all the snow and ice. It's so muddy and we have rain coming for 3 days. Oh Boy!!
