DAY 1 OF COLUMBIA TRIP

Good Morning!
What a beautiful morning to be taking a trip.

We are heading to Columbia, Missouri.
Kaitlin has her 4-H State Fashion Show on Saturday.
Since the girls don't have classes or have to work and Tim took the day off, we are heading out on Friday morningish.

First stop -
We stopped in Blackwater, Missouri.

It was founded in 1887 after the Missouri Pacific Railroad needed a coal refilling station between Jefferson City and Kansas City.

Train Station

They had several shops open.
We even stopped in the grocery store that was orignally the bank.

The Mosely Folding Bathtub.
We have never seen one before. The newest invention a folding bathtub. Back in the day it was the thing to have.

The piggies!

This windmill was in the center of the road. I gave the directions to where you wanted to go. It was the map of the town. Pretty cool!

A beautiful garden in between 2 buildings.

My beautiful daughters.

As we were heading to our hotel room we stopped off at a antique shop. Tim and I have been doing that lately. We love seeing the old stuff.

We thought this was interesting.
Do you know what it is??

It's a traveling egg carton box.
We almost thought about buying it.

After we checked in the hotel, we meet with some friends for dinner. We ate at HuHot Mongolian Grill. The food was really good.
