WEEKEND HAPPENINGS!

Tim got the gate put on.

Next we had to put the fencing on the gate.

Tim still needs to put on the new latch.

The girls and I worked on the herb bed.
Cleaned it up and planted some more.

Bought another duckling.

It's been awhile since the girls and I had a tea party. So we made some time over the weekend to do this. Tim even joined us. This is a special time with the girls. Memories being made!

Our new screen door.

Side one
Kaitlin put a protectant coat on it.

Side two

~~ DYING EASTER EGGS~~
It's a tradition around here to dye Easter eggs.

This one got really dark green.

The girls did a great job!

Another project!

We built a chicken tractor last year. Using it right now with about 24 meat birds in it. The problem we have with it is that it's hard to get them out when you need to. Tim found a different plan on making one that would make that job easier. The new one won't hold as many as the one we made last year. So, we are making two to see if it will work better. If we like it, we will make more.

After Tim got the wood cut, he started laying them out to put them together.

Meanwhile, the girls and I are gonna plant some more plants.
This is the potato plant that is coming up we planted a week or so ago.

Garlic we planted last fall is looking good.

The grapes we planted last fall is sprouting.

The girls planted 50 strawberry plants.
Way to go girls!

Planted onions and cabbage.

Tim got the Vineyard Garden mowed.

Tim is really coming along on this.
The sides are being put together.

Over by Kaitlin there will be a door. We will have to duck our heads but we can walk through it.

I helped to put a few screws in.

Kaitlin finished with the screen door. Tim is hanging it for us.

Looks good!

HAPPY EASTER!
From our family to yours!

Jesus Has Risen

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” Then they remembered his words.
When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them who told this to the apostles. 11 But they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense. 12 Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. Bending over, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he went away, wondering to himself what had happened.
~Luke 24:1-12
