Planting Fall Green Beans & Movie Day!

We got up early to get our chores done. We have a special treat! Going out for lunch and a movie. That's exciting enough to get some sleepy girls up out of bed.

Soaked the beans overnight. Just to help germination. 

Got the beans planted. Lets pray they grow and produce. Our last batch we lost all of them. So we are praying this fall batch gives us some for putting up.

The vineyard garden is done and all cleaned up.

Such a blessing~ more tomatoes and green/red peppers.

 Another canning day sometime this week.

MOVIE DAY!

Let's start by spoiling them with LOTS of candy and popcorn.

Now those girls look happy or its a sugar high.

Got home and started doing our evening chores with the animals.

To show how big they are getting but one Crooked-mouth. This one is very small. It is eating just not eating a lot.

* EXCITING NEWS: We collected 10 eggs. Not normal. The young ones are finally starting to lay. Not in the nesting boxes, but in the barn. Guess we will be searching for eggs nightly.

*UPDATE: Lost another baby chick. We aren't sure why this is happening. So we only have 2 left from 7. We won't be buying from them again.
