The girls and I were in the city for some shopping and visiting with family. Tim got off earlier, and got started on the Hen House. This project is gonna take several weeks to get done.
He was working on the side boards, so he can remove the temporary boards.
The kitten (we call Sundae) sleeping on Cuddles.
This one had to be buried in order to be level.
I came to tell Tim bad weather is coming.
He got another board on and packed up his stuff.

We had to move quick. We got all the chickens locked up. The steers didn't get fed. The ducks didn't get locked up until the storm was done.
We were making sure everything was secure if there was high winds. The girls were checking on the meaties.
Kaitlin at the water spigot. The rain came fast and hard. Tim and I were in the barn securing things.
Skylar giving the meaties water.
We were all soaked to the bone. When we got in the house we all changed and watched a movie. Nothing to do until the storm passes.
AFTER THE STORM!
This is the water flowing out of the pond. There is a valley that it flows through. You can see that it was flowing outside of it rapidly. At this point it is just sprinkling.
This is our driveway which the pond is on the right side. The water was going over the driveway washing out the gravel.
The other side of the driveway.
There is a drain pipe there.
Closer up on the drain pipe and how much water was flowing over.
Water all the way up (driveway).
We checked on the meaties. They were fine, but wet!
