Animals

Come meet our many animals on our homestead and why we have some of them.

 We are raising laying hens for their eggs.

This is some of our flock.

 Turkeys for meat

 Guineas to take care of the ticks and mosquitoes.

 We have several different roosters...

 and our plans are to hatch our own chicks.

We have a mixture of great laying hens, hens that are gentle, some bantys and fancy ones.

Ducks- they will serve multiple purposes.

For meat, eggs, eat bugs in the front part of the yard, and watch them swim in the pond.

Steers and a bull purpose is to bring in money.

Future plans: we are still wanting to add goats, pigs, and cows.
