We are planning on having heifers/cows full time now.
With that we have been learning and finding new ways to make things easier on the farm. One of those ways are putting up a perimeter electric fence. This way it's already there and ready.
All we would need to do is hook up to it.

That sounds so easy right? Mostly
Tim is going around the front and middle pastures first. He is checking that all posts and t-posts are good and putting in the insulators so the high tensile wire fencing can rest in it.
Tim has been busy putting these on all the wood posts. He has the front and most of the middle pasture done.
He needs to clear the brush from the other side. You don't want all that growing up with the electric fencing. It will ground it out.
He is doing an amazing job.
He can finish putting the holders in now that it is cleared.
It took him 2 days working on the front and middle pasture getting it ready for the high tensile wire to be strung. We plan on doing the back pasture only after we get these pastures ready.
It will be so nice when it is all done.
