CHICK BUSINESS~
We are housing 5 chickens for friends of ours. They are Barred Plymouth Rocks. They are a little younger then my older babies (about a month younger). We got them at night so this is them the 2 days later. They hang out in the Hen House mostly.
The new chicks roosting. I was surprised they didn't stay together.
In the shed we have 23 baby chicks. Nine of them are almost old enough to move. So I was having problems with 4 of them and decided to go ahead and moved them to the Hen House. They are my roosters, enough said. Lets let the older hens put you in your place since I haven't been able to do that. It's been working so far and they stay close to the Hen House and are getting by. They are small and won't get much bigger as they are bantys.
