Homestead Update

DUCKS AND THE SOON TO BE DUCK INN!

 Just giving a update on Survivor - She is doing well but having problems keeping up with the rest of the ducks. She doesn't walk very good with her one foot that was injured. She looks like she does fine in the pond. However, she doesn't swim too far out just stays close to the edge of the water. The new babies are doing good and swimming just fine and loving the water. They just started going back into the water this past weekend.

Survivor prefers to stay outside and doesn't like going in the temporary housing.

THE DUCK INN!

 The girls got it painted.

 Got the wire on one and a half sides.

Roof metal is cut and just needs to be screwed on.

Need to make a door for it and we should be ready to use 

this by the end of the week.

I still need to figure out a feeder for them. I have a small one

 I have been using,

but need a bigger one for eight of them. 

My plans are to keep it under the roof to stay dry.

JUST TOO CUTE!

We decided to leave the kittens out to give Cuddles some company.
