What's been happening on the homestead that last couple of weeks??
The meat birds are almost ready to butcher.
Snow with her 10 babies are growing. One of them wasn't growing like the rest of them. She is on the far left. Kaitlin has been bottle feeding her. She is thriving now and more active.
She is so cute!!!!!
Chickens got a new feeder.
Tim made it.
Potato Plants
I made some signs to put in the garden.
Tim finally put some lights on the mower.
This will come in handy this year. He has already used them to finish up the mowing.
Blackberries
Got my cucumbers planted.
Got the lettuce planted the other day and look already sprouted.
Herbs and other veggies are growing.
Out doing evening chores but what a beautiful sunset to close a good day.
I wish I could capture the sky full of stars. There is nothing like country life and the nights sky.

Family work day in the garden.
Today is the day to get the tomato plants in.
Instead of using tomato cages this year, we are stringing them up.
Tim spreading mulch out around the plants.
Tomatoes are all strung up.
Only planted 124 plants this year.
All the trees have filled in and grasses are growing tall.
Moved some of the baby chicks over to a bigger area.
