This weekend was our homeschool conference. This is an exciting time for our family. Skylar and Kaitlin for the past several years go back and help with the children's program they have. Tim and I get to have hands on with the curriculum/books and meet other like minded families.
Here is some of the happenings....
This is the day before conferences started. Training day and getting the stations ready.
These girls will be tired before the weekend is up.
We all got up early and did the morning chores before leaving.
We had to leave our house before 6 am to get them to the conference. The girls had to be there earlier than our classes started. We dropped them off and we headed out for breakfast.
The girls really like this author, Susan K. Marlow. Better known in our house as Mrs. M. The girls were reading her books then we got to meet her a couple of years back.
Tim and I usually find lots of cool books at this vendor.
All the kids in large group.
Don't know if you can see Kaitlin, she has the red letter E.

Skylar has the yellow smiley-face.
After the last day of the conference we get together with another family for dinner.
This was taken several years back. In this picture they were all in elementary. Our daughters knew each other 2 years before we met the parents. We decided it was time we met and go have dinner together.
Look at them now!
They are all in high school.
He was trying to photo bomb the picture.
This is some of what I purchased. Some is being shipped. The Conference special is they ship for free. That's always a bonus. There is one company I order the language arts from and they weren't at the conference. So I will be placing a order with them.
We got to meet two of the actors that were in these movies we purchased. We are excited to watch them as a family. We are told they are making another one.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
~Proverbs 22:6
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk to them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
~ Deuteronomy 6:7
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
