Update Number Three!! (And 4 and 5)

Well, everything has been.. not crazy, but crazy. This update was supposed to be about Slick (Our tadpole) and the butterflies (Snapdragon, Icy, Sunny, Kolo and Kale).

We let them go, possibly a little too late, because two of them died. We think they mated and then died, but we're not entirely sure. Anyway we let them go and POOFSH! they were gone. 

Turns out our 'frog' lives in water his whole life, so we got a fish tank from the attic and put him in it. 

So here are some pics of they things we have been up to the past... well since we last posted . . . . .

The first butterfly to... hatch?

Mkay, so we got three Lavender Orpington chicken eggs. 

Yes, the chicken is gonna for reals be purple.

Annnnd, Lacie decided my shoulder looked like a good place to walk around. 

I didn't even put her there! And she literally walked from my left shoulder to my right one!

Ya'll remember our Pottery Field Trip back in February?

Well, now, we glazed our pots/bowls/whateveryoumade. Which means we picked a color and dipped our pot into it.

Getting to recent stuff! The past weekend (May 30-31, 2015)...

We put up more floor trim and calked the window trim and floor trim and painted it.

So our living room-

 -And dining room pretty much looked like we just moved in.

And so the next day... It still looked like we just moved in. 

Well, all the calk and paint had to dry, so we ending up putting all the furniture back on Sunday. (The day the picture above was taken. And also the pictures below).

We took our back doors off so we could paint them.

 

And the.. squares that hold the glass ...

So this was dinner on Monday (June 2nd A.K.A. yesterday)

Green peppers...

 Cast iron pot or skillet...

 Onions...

 

 Add green peppers..

 Put meat in the pot and--

Bam! Pshptm! It's cooked, automagically. 

 

See? All combined and cooked to DEE-LICIOUSNESS
