We are in the truck.

I'll give you another hint......

We are going to the woods.

Did you guess it?

Your right!

We are getting more firewood.

This is almost a full time job.

The plan today is to load up the truck and keep loading up the truck until we have all the cut wood from the woods.

We are just dumping them by the wood splitter.

This will make it easier for Tim to split.

As we were gathering up the wood we found a critter in between two logs. What a surprise we had reaching down to pick them up.

The ducks

Tim joined us and started cutting up some of the bigger branches.

Scout didn't like the chain saw but tolerated it.

Shadow on the other hand said she is out of here.

Cuddles just waiting until we are done.

Another load

We had a little helper.

Tim cutting more trees.

We are finding more that we need to take down.

Many have fallen. They are mostly small ones. 

Got the last load for the evening. It's getting dark and we still need to do chores.

This load we will keep in the truck.

Tim said it would be easier grabbing from the truck than the ground.

That is a lot of wood that will need to be split.

But, that will wait for another day.

NEXT DAY.......

Tim got started on splitting the wood.

Then, he got it all stacked.

Now lets not forget we still need to plant our garlic.

I almost thought we weren't gonna get this done.

Tim helped me with this job.

We planted 43 cloves this year.

We more than doubled it from last year. The garlic is really good and big.

What a beautiful evening!

Before long winter snow will be covering this pond.
